About Cordata

Good research deserves good data — at its heart.

Cor is Latin for heart. Cordata is built on the belief that good research deserves access to good data. We gather what is technically public but practically inaccessible, standardize it, and deliver it through a single transparent marketplace.

The Problem We Solve

Public research data exists — but it’s scattered, inconsistently formatted, and locked behind complex processes.

The Status Quo

  • Data scattered across dozens of government portals
  • Inconsistent formats, missing identifiers
  • Private deals and opaque pricing
  • Months of manual collection per dataset
  • No standardization across sources

The Cordata Way

  • One marketplace for hard-to-access datasets
  • Standardized schemas and clear documentation
  • Transparent, public pricing
  • Instant access via API or CSV download
  • Regular updates — no stale data

How We Work

Three stages turn raw public records into research-ready datasets.

01

Identify & Source

We identify datasets researchers frequently need but can’t easily access. We work directly from public sources — government registers, patent databases, official publications.

02

Gather & Clean

AI-assisted pipelines and data engineering gather, deduplicate, and normalize the raw data. We add entity linkages — matching records across sources using company identifiers.

03

Document & Deliver

Every dataset ships with schema documentation, source notes, and a methodology description for academic citation. Access via API, CSV, or JSON — whatever fits your workflow.

Our Data Sources

All data originates from official public sources. We make it usable.
